February is for Falling in love...with a book
Hello, my lovely loves who love love,
I've been quiet lately but I'm still here! I came down with covid after a work trip so that currently has me under the covers binging the most romantic show ever: The Sopranos. I'm kidding, it's a horror show about a guy who goes to therapy because he's been having panic attacks. I'm hoping to be better soon and back to business as usual, but in the meantime, I wanted to let you know about an event starting today: Blind Date with a Sapphic Book!
I love visiting my local bookstore in February and seeing a shelf of titles wrapped up in brown paper with only their tinder bios on display. I've found some great books this way that I might not have read otherwise, including Brideshead Revisited. Okay, here are the facts:
To celebrate Romance Month, Jae created a month-long event called Blind Date with a Sapphic Book. I will have a book included later this month, but I can't wait to check out all of the others and find some new literary soulmates.
Spice up your reading in February by going on a blind date with a sapphic book (or two...or three), all of them discounted, free, or part of a giveaway for this special occasion. 70+ authors are offering a sapphic romance for you to discover.
Every week, the batch of books will be swapped for new "blind dates" so you can find a new literary love each week of the month. The first 20 book dates are now up on Jae's website for you to explore!

LOL (lots of love),
Lucy
p.s. I hope this email made sense and that everyone appreciates that I refrained from saying gabagool until just now. That's love.
