In other news, I’ve been reading a lot of fiction lately and I loved Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield. When I recommended it to Stephanie Shea I described it as "poetic and weird and sad and beautiful". It is *not* a romance but I adored the writing.

If you want romance and only romance I recently read and loved Season of Love by Helena Greer. Helena writes characters that are funny and real and work hard to overcome their trauma.
